Prague – České Budějovice – Linz – A1 towards Salzburg – Bischofshofen – Sankt Johann im Pongau – Bad Gastein – Böckstein – Sportgastein (1585 m).
From Bad Gastein via Böckstein onto the Gasteiner Alpenstraße, a toll road (charged per person). Park in Sportgastein – preferably at a car park further from the lift, by the information centre.
